About Me
Hi! I'm Alex. I make web development videos on the internet.
I love writing quality, reliable software that impacts people in a positive way.
That's why I keep my skills up-to-date & create detailed tutorials explaining why and how a solution works best.
Also, I'm always looking for ways to get involved in the software development community. I attend monthly meetups where I can learn, geek-out, and have fun!
I understand that at the end of the day, businesses need to make money! This is why I aim to be a service-oriented team member. That means being available to pair program with teammates, presenting better patterns & solutions to improve the codebase, listening to business needs, and overall being easy to work with.

Thanks for reading! Let's create an impact, together.
Personal Life
I live in the beautiful state of Colorado. You'd expect me to spend time with Colorado's vast outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and fishing but that's not me at all!
I enjoy wood carving, playing video games, going on walks, and spending time with friends or family.
I'm the second-eldest of 3 brothers and 3 sisters. You could say I'm used to some chaos.
Recommendations
I've worked with Alex for the last year on a large scale government enterprise application. Alex works hard and learns fast! He's thorough and thoughtful and easy to work with. I was the lead on the project with Alex for a year and I'd love the opportunity to work together again. He is a smart and independent engineer who doesn't need micro-management. I really enjoyed our code pairing sessions, Alex has a real passion for technology...
-- Chris Ubick, Lead Engineer
Alex was a pleasure to work with. He is helpful, enthusiastic, and eager to learn, He goes beyond just being a coder and can participate in design sessions. Definitely a valuable member of the team.
-- Tim Lennan, Senior Engineer
Alex was an intern on the DevOps team at Ace Info the Summer of 2019. During the interview process, I was impressed with the skills he was able to learn in a short amount of time, and those skills were definitely evident during his internship. I gave him the task of assisting with our migration from Bamboo, Bitbucket, and Jenkins to Gitlab and Alex's performance was impressive.
-- Nick Simko, Lead Engineer
Alex and I worked together on the team that built the Volunteercore opportunity tracker for the Fort Collins Volunteers of America chapter. He joined the team and immediately shrunk the product time line by building out the software front end in just a few days. The project management of the project also became more clear with Alex's help in filing clearly defined tickets, commit changes, and pull requests. Alex is highly capable in Javascript and React web development.
